Of course we’re in business to make a profit, but our business plan is to deliver excellence at a reasonable price and turn everyone we meet into a “walking, talking billboard” for our company. Our team at Saratoga Modular has well over 100 years of combined experience in custom home building, and the members of our leadership team have a stellar reputation in the industry. Quality
When it comes to modular homes, there is a HUGE range of quality available in the market. We DO NOT sell manufactured (aka “Mobile or HUD Code”) homes, or marginal quality “HUDular” homes. We only work with manufacturers whose homes meet OUR minimum standards (sturdy construction, ENERGY STAR compliance, name-brand windows and cabinetry, quality finishes, long-term warranty, etc.) and who have a reputation for superior construction at reasonable prices. We want happy clients, and our business success depends on their referrals, so we only build quality homes.
Customization
At SMH we prefer to think and work “outside the box”. While our manufacturers have hundreds of stock home plans available to choose from, the vast majority of our homes are custom designs built to our client’s specifications.

Modular homes are very cost-effective by nature, but we take those savings to another level. Our goal is to get the client the best possible home for their budget. So we work closely with clients to design a home that is cost-effective to build, get competitive price quotes from manufacturers and suppliers, search out the best financing programs, and then help the client analyze their options and make a good selection. And since we control our overhead expenses closely and aren’t greedy, our prices are very competitive.
